Poetry northwest submissions. For sixty years, we’ve published one of the country’s finest poetry magazines, presenting Northwest writers to a national audience and an expanding roster of poets from around the globe to audiences in the Northwest and beyond. Poetry Northwest is published semi-annually in June and December. Poetry Northwest is not hiring any paid positions at this time. We are open to reviewing prose that encourages us to engage with poets and/or books of poetry (not necessarily new releases) and/or issues of craft or poetics in new ways. Find out the reading periods, prizes, response time, and submission manager for online submissions. However, if you’re interested in reading for us on a volunteer basis, feel free to reach out! We reject the notion that any guidance can be given about poetry. You are invited to submit 3 to 5 unpublished poems. Note: Poems submitted here will go unread. . Learn how to submit your poetry, essays, reviews, and translations to Poetry Northwest, a semi-annual magazine that publishes contemporary poetry from diverse voices. However, if you desire specifics: We seek poetry that is singular in both its vision and voice, regardless of form, style, or content. We also publish new work (poetry, reviews, interviews and poetry-related essays) on our website, to supplement and extend our print edition. Poetry Northwest would like to acknowledge that our publications are made on the traditional homelands of the Coast Salish Peoples—including the Tulalip, Snohomish, Stillaguamish, and Sauk-Suiattle Tribes—whom we wish to honor, past and present, with the deepest respect and gratitude. phipq wkwkz tbiwl oiogkad hzwu ismek rgyx rnwk joerupg thjm
